The Junior Golf School has been entrusted to the care of the Youth Commission. Since its launch in 2006, the school has had an ambitious action plan. Initially, it was open only to children whose parents were Dar Es-Salaam members. Classes were held twice a week, on Wednesdays and Saturdays, from 2pm to 4pm.<\/p>\n
In a second phase, the school opened up to pupils from certain schools. At present, the school has around fifty students, taught by three professionals.<\/p>\n
Pupils are assessed through competitions, at the end of which they are awarded a flag diploma.<\/p>\n
With regard to the latter, the Youth Commission is proud to point out that the school is the only one to use this concept, a pure creation of Royal Golf Dar Es Salam.<\/p>\n
The school then opened its doors to the children of Caddys and employees of the golf course maintenance teams, who receive introductory and advanced lessons from Mr. Hali Kadri three half-days a week.<\/p>\n
As you can see, the school is evolving to become a hub for golf initiation and the democratization of golfing etiquette.<\/p>\n
To make sure that everything is on its side, the school has strengthened its teaching facilities by acquiring specific, fun teaching tools.<\/p>\n
It also helps teachers to improve their skills through high-level in-service training, the development of flags, evaluation and the awarding of diplomas according to flags, and the organization of specific competitions.<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
